The map has one marker per country, each with its price per 100 g. Tap a marker to see how that figure was calculated and how many prices it rests on.

The price list shows every published price, grouped by country, with the local price and its value per 100 g. Offers are flagged. Search by country, store, city, jar size or continent: the list narrows as you type. A button opens a random price.

It is not a ranking. Each country's figure lives on its own page, with every price behind it.

Spotted a jar? Send in its price. Every new one makes a country's figure sturdier.

1. Add a clear photo of the jar and its price tag.
2. Enter the price in local currency and the jar size.
3. Say where and when you saw it.
4. Tell us who spotted it, or stay anonymous.
5. Check and send: a moderator reviews it before it goes live.
